The General Lee That Jack Built
...is a 1969 Dodge Charger built to resemble the car from the TV show Dukes of Hazzard.
With the popularity of 60s & 70s era muscle cars exploding, many people are restoring these cars and duplicating the General Lee.
We here at ART became involved with the General Lee that Jack Built after Officer Romine of the North Little Rock, Arkansas Police Department inquired about installing our products in his rusted-out '69 Charger. With our assistance, he was able to Save a Mopar using a Safe-T-Cap frame repair kit from Auto Rust Technicians.
What was just a simple restoration of a Charger turned into a full documentary on how to build a General Lee. He also became involved in fundraising for the Special Olympics, which got the Blues Mobile to Little Rock for Duke's Day 2004.
