Subframe Connectors
1962-65 B-Body
ART-19-3
These tie the front and back frames together. Originally, Mopars had plenty of strength and didn't need this modification, but as the car ages, rust weakens the car and thins out the metal and this helps reinforce the underside. Also perfect for high performance engine applications. This is the part the factory should have installed on every Mopar. Convertibles would benefit from subframe connectors since they don't have a solid roof, which helps tie the car together. This kit is fabricated from 2x2x1/8 wall square tubing. Mitered ends make it a snap to install. There is welding required, this is not a bolt-in. The frame connectors are a feature story in Mopar Action magazine, the October 2002 issue.
Installation instructions are available here. (Instructions will also be included with shipment.)
